WINDOWS XP – INTERNET ACCOUNT SETUP

  1. Click [All Programs], [Accessories], [Communications], [New Connection Wizard].

  

  1. New Connection Wizard box opens, choose [Connect to the Internet], [Next].

  

  1. Select [Set up my connection manually], [Next].

   

  1. Choose [Connect using a dial-up modem], [Next].

   

  1. Type ArdenNet in [ISP Name], [Next].

  

  1. Type in the phone number listed on you Account Information Sheet.

  

  1. Type in your user name and password exactly as listed on your Account Information Sheet.

  

  1. Check the box [Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop], click [Finish] to complete the setup.

 

  1. Right click [Internet Explorer], select [Internet Property].

 

  1. Select [Connection], ArdenNet should be the default connection.  Choose [Always dial my default connection], [OK].

  

  1. Now click the ArdenNet shortcut on the desktop or click Internet Explorer to access the Ardennet.
