There will be a scheduled maintenance on Thursday, December 16th between the hours of 12:00AM and 3:00AM Pacific Time. Customers in Sacramento, CA and surrounding areas will experience disruption to their Internet service(s) for approximately 5 minutes during this maintenance window

Customers seem to be getting a message in their email with files attached. As viruses seem to be a huge problem currently we advise 
customers to delete them if you do not know who the sender is

Customers in the Sacramento area may be experiencing disconnects
between 2 -3 minute intervals. We are currently working on the issue.

Announcement:
Starting from July 2003, ArdenNet will have two new annual plans. $99 Annual Plan provides unlimited dial-up access.  New or renewed users will not have a free email account under this plan.  $119 Premium Plan includes unlimited Internet access and one free email account with spam protection and basic virus filtering.  Monthly subscription plan remains unchanged.  All subscriptions have no setup fee.

ArdenNet's e-mail servers have been experiencing some problems. Customers may have been unable to send and receive some e-mails during Sunday evening and Monday morning.

ArdenNet's customers in the south Sacramento area may be experiencing slow connections and frequent disconnection. Our technicians are currently looking at the switches in this area. It has been reported that this may have been happening for the last 3 days.

ArdenNet's provider PacBell has had to replace a cable on one of major circuits. All circuits and operations are back to normal.

We are experiencing problems with our back bone provider. Some of out local Sacramento customers will not be able to connect at all. All e-mail to for Corporate customers and to ArdenNet members are also not available.

ArdenNet has had a great year with no major outages experienced.

ArdenNet is experiencing some problems with our network provider. You may find that you connect but are not able to browse the internet or view your email, depending on which local number you are using. Also the problem seems intermittent, meaning you may try again after 15 minutes or so. We apologize for the inconvenience.

ArdenNet is currently experiencing some technical problems on our 916-488-xxxx numbers. Our staff are currently testing the instability on the line. Although you will still be able to use the number, you may be disconnected more often than usual.

Our Technical staff will be upgrading our E-Mail server on the 07/31/2001 at approximately 10pm.  Your email will not be available during this time, the process will take about 1 1/2 hours. Thank You for your patience.
